Welcome to the official commemorative home page of the Antanisoft Group Research BBS!

This section has been created to remind to the entire BBS community (9000 users in 10 years) what was the life like on the board, to see again the "crew" and to taste pictures about the events that made this world alive.

For those who are new to computers & internet, the acronym "BBS" may sound strange... anyway, those who used to connect to a computer other than his own in the years from '88 to '98, will appreciate these few pages.

...when the Internet was nowhere and only few people were familiar with modems, the BBSes were the networks and the places to connect to!
The people who made them and who used to "navigate" them are the pioneers of computer networks... never forget it!

Texts, pictures, messages and files of the board itself as they were, have been preserved for your memories and are part of this memorial site. These materials have been saved before the final shut down in 1999.

Antanisoft BBS will never definitively die in the memory of the people who made it! That is why this site is here.
